SEO reports not showing any monthly data

Postby guvenile on Mon Jun 16, 2008 2:03 pm

I am not getting any traffic data in my SEO reports. I’m not sure if it is tracking properly?
I have followed the instructions I got in the signup email and placed the code in my header tags at the top of the page.

Any help?

Check you have copied the whole script from the email into your website. Make sure you have also copied the <script></script> tags into your page, otherwise the script wont get executed.

Sounds like your browser is not executing the script properly. There are a few reasons this can happen, but this is most likely because of a JavaScript error on your webpage.

If you are using "firefox", load your website up in the browser.
goto > "Tools" > "Error Console".

If using IE, load your website up in the browser. Double click the yellow alert icon down the bottom left corner.

Ether one of the error reports should show you if you have a JavaScript error and the line it occurs. If you have personal JavaScript, above your tracking code that causes an error, your tracking script will not execute.

Ok thanks it’s working now, I had another old JavaScript include file above the script that was freezing it up.
